Bled Lake

When you reach the lake, you can rent a boat and go to the island yourself after a pleasant tour of the lake, or use the traditional boats of Bled and visit the island in groups. In this case, the boat gives you about 45 minutes to walk well on the island and watch whatever you want and then takes you back to shore.
You may not believe it, but in this small and beautiful island, the remains of human life have been discovered from three thousand years ago. Also from the 9th and 10th centuries AD there are signs of the presence of the Slovak people on the island. The church on the island was also called the Temple of the Virgin Mary before it became a church. The temple was destroyed and converted to a church after the people became Christians. Over the centuries, the medieval church was repeatedly exposed to natural damage, but was eventually rebuilt and maintained in the Baroque style in the 17th century. In the 18th century, the main altar was decorated with golden plates and statues. To go to church you have to climb 99 stone steps.
