Bareh Sar is located 55 km away from Rudbar city and is connected to the old texture of Bareh Sar from the north, to the forests and beautiful pool of Vistan from the south, to the villages of Tieh and Dosaldeh from the east and to the village of Chahar Mahal from the west; a mountainous city with a temperate mountainous climate that has been constructed in the current location with a concentrated texture after the 1990 earthquake.
Bareh Sar Lake is located in the heart of the forest and this has doubled its beauty. The Bareh Sar Lake is about 4 hectares and its depth reaches 100 meters. The area around the lake includes a wide variety of flora and fauna that you will certainly not get tired of exploring around the lake. A lake like a shining jewel shines among the beech trees and captivates every traveler. The distance from Rudbar to the lake is 56 km and from Bareh Sar to the lake is about 2 km, although it is a very beautiful route, but it has a difficult and forested route and is full of rocks.
Lake Vistan, also known as Vistan pool, was also created by the 1990 earthquake, and the water of this lake is supplied from the surrounding mountains and springs, so it is full of water on most days of the year. As the lake reaches the tree-lined mountains on both sides, it creates a spectacular view. Around the natural pool of Vistan is full of oak, beech, willow trees.
In this area, due to the presence of suitable pastures and meadows, you will find quality natural honey and dairy products, as well as raspberries, hawthorn, apples, pears and walnuts, which you can take as souvenirs to your friends and acquaintances. This is a mountainous region, so it has cool springs and warm summers. So, it is better to travel to Lake Vistan in these two seasons.
You should be aware that there is no shop or restaurant nearby and you should do your shopping in the city, for example, Sarcheshmeh restaurant located in Rudbar is one of the best places to eat so that you can enjoy nature and eat with peace of mind. Of course, this has led to nature remaining pristine and acting in the interest of the environment. If you want to spend the night by the lake, it is better to have a flashlight, sleeping bag, tent, extra clothes, food and enough water with you. Be comfortable with animals and sleep very comfortably. There are no bears here.
Vistan, a pristine lake, although located near Rudbar, is still clean. If you get close to the water, you will clearly see fish in the water that have not been caught or lost to pollution. This area is full of silence and tranquility, and the only sound that disturbs the silence of the lake is the sound of birds. Birds that are singing quietly. When the sky is clear, the reflection of the blue of the sky and the green of the trees on the water create a very interesting combination.
